Meet Jenny

My Mom always told me I could be anything I wanted! As a kid, I wanted to get up close with wildlife through sketching and photography.  Look at me now – a grown-up kid, exploring the natural world. Mom was right.

My grandfather always sent us National Geographic magazines and I devoured the pages! The article that kicked off my wildlife adventure was on the amazing Sloth. As a kid, I’d never imagined a cool critter like the three-toed sloth! I wondered, what others are there? My first click occurred when my Dad gave me a 35mm Canon AE-1 camera as I entered my teen years.

Already deeply in love with nature & wildlife, this new hobby gave me the opportunity to explore and foster my interest even more! I fell hard for taking pictures of flora and fauna, capturing the captivating details of each uniquely wild neighbor.

As my passions grew, so did my skill in sketching and sharing the stories of our wild neighbors with anyone as a way to increase understanding and a desire to protect them.

What I do

My Passions

Consider this site and the work it contains a love letter to all of our wild neighbors — each unique critter and the interconnectedness of their habitats — and enjoy the journey to get to know them all with child-like wonder!

An opportunity to connect with our wild neighbors from study and understanding. I frequently seek understanding through nature journaling.

Photography

Sometimes when the shutter clicks, you know you’ve got it! Photography allows me to further explore this world and share our wild neighbors.
